BEGINNING SEWING BOOT CAMP

Fit to Sew has a unique method to teach beginning sewing. Rather than taking 6-8 weeks of classes, come take a day long "Boot camp" to give you the basics you need to confidently create. Building on one technique at a time, with specific instruction and examples, you'll move from becoming comfortable with your machine, to tackling simple projects. By the end of the day, you're ready to launch into your sewing journey.

CERTIFIED INSTRUCTION IN PALMER/PLETSCH TISSUE FITTING

One of the frustrating issues with creating beautiful garments is perfecting the fit. Too many times, the completed project doesn’t look anything like the way you envisioned it. Fit to Sew has a specialized method of teaching that ensures the garment you cut out will flatter your body. Working with a tissue pattern, you can learn to recognize and address problem areas before you cut your fabric. Stop making muslins you’ll never wear, wasting fabric, and getting frustrated, and instead, create garments you will enjoy that complement your body.
